Distinguished Colleagues,

It is well acknowledged that advances in scientific knowledge and technology are paving the way to fast-moving progress and innovations in the science of medicine. Thanks to these developments, many elements of our discipline ranging from diagnostic approaches, medical and surgical treatments to rehabilitation methods are rapidly improving day by day.

Among the ultimate goals of our society is the creation of a stimulating scientific environment for our young generation of colleagues to continuously update their knowledge in the field.

I, hereby, am delighted to announce the "9th International Otorhinolaryngology and Head-Neck Surgery Congress" convened by our Society in Ankara to be held from April 8th to April 10th, 2010.

Convened by our Society for the 9th time and hosting numerous eminent colleagues from all over the world, this international event will offer a splendid opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences in the field.

With significant contributions of Turkish Rhinologic Society, Society of Otology and Neuro-otology, Society of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology and Head–Neck Surgery, Society of Laryngology, Society of Otology and Audiology of Mediterranean Countries, Society of Anatomic Researches, Association of Audiology, Speech and Voice Disorders and Professional Voice Association, we are working towards a programme that we hope you will find both stimulating and rewarding.

The programme will include presentations, panel discussions, workshops and poster displays on a wide variety of subjects.

We are looking forward to seeing all our dear colleagues in the warm and lively atmosphere of this much valuable gathering.
